Double XL is 54" wide by 80" long: the width of a double with the length of a queen. It is a hard size to find in Toronto; we keep it in stock in Canadian-made and brand-name models, with free delivery across the GTA.

Double XL (also called full XL) measures 54" × 80". It is made for tall single sleepers who do not have the floor space for a queen: you get queen length in a frame only 54 inches wide. Most big-box stores do not stock it, which is why so many Toronto shoppers find this page.
A double XL needs a double XL frame or an adjustable platform; a standard double frame is five inches too short. We carry double XL box springs in 9" and 4" heights and can order bed frames to match.
Because the size is uncommon, most of our double XL mattresses are Canadian-made, in firm, medium and plush comfort levels.
Double XL mattresses ship free in Toronto and the GTA, and old mattress removal is available for $50 when you book.
The prices on this page are the same as in our North York showroom and update automatically during sales. Every mattress shows its starting price for this size, and 0% financing is available through Affirm.
