How to measure for a custom mattress

    1. Measure the space, not the old mattress. Old mattresses sag and shrink. Measure the inside of the frame, platform or bunk from edge to edge.
    2. Measure in two or three places. Check the width at the head and the foot, and the length on both sides. Older frames and boat berths are rarely perfectly square.
    3. Note any angles and curves. For cut corners, measure how far the cut runs along each side. For rounded corners, estimate the radius.
    4. Check the height you have. Bunks, lofts, RVs and Murphy beds often limit how thick the mattress can be.
    5. Take a photo. A photo of the space with a tape measure in view, or a quick sketch, helps us quote accurately.

    Common questions

How much does a custom mattress cost?

Every custom mattress is priced individually, based on the size, shape, height and materials you choose. Fill in the form and we’ll send you a clear quote with no obligation.

    How long does it take?

Custom mattresses take just 3–5 business days to build. Delivery then takes up to a further 5 business days at most, depending on your shipping address. Your quote will confirm the timing.

Can you match a size from my old mattress?

Yes. Send us the measurements and a photo of the frame or space. If you’re unsure, we’re happy to talk it through over the phone.

Can I see the materials first?

Of course. Visit our showroom at 1285 Caledonia Road, North York to feel the different comfort levels and materials in person.

Do you make custom box springs too?

Yes! Let us know in the form if you need a matching foundation or box spring, and we’ll include it in your quote.
