The Solace Gel sits in the middle of the comfort scale, which makes it one of the most versatile choices. Side sleepers get cushioning at the shoulders and hips, back and combination sleepers get solid support, and couples with different preferences usually both find it comfortable.
Yes. The Solace Gel has a layer of Visco Cooling Gel that draws heat away from your body, and the pocket coil core lets air move freely through the mattress, so it sleeps noticeably cooler than an all-foam bed.
Sleep on it for up to 100 nights. If it isn’t right for you, you can exchange it once for a different mattress, and you’re free to choose another model or brand. If your new mattress costs more, you simply pay the difference; if it costs less, we refund the difference. Exchanges are available in Ontario within 250 km of our showroom.
The Solace Gel is a one-sided mattress, so it should not be flipped. Rotate it 180° every 3 to 6 months to help it wear evenly.
Use a firm box spring, a solid platform or a slatted base with slats no more than 3″ apart. Queen and king sizes need a frame with centre support. A sagging or broken base can affect comfort and your warranty, so if yours is worn, it’s worth replacing it. Not sure? Ask us and we’ll recommend the right foundation for the Solace Gel.
This mattress has a 10-year limited warranty from Dreamstar that covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship, such as broken coils or body impressions deeper than the manufacturer’s limit. If an issue comes up, contact us first and we’ll handle the claim with Dreamstar for you.

I’ve had a crazy experience shopping for mattresses in the last 3 months and this is actually my 3rd mattress in that time. The first two were not from this company but I thought I could get those bed in a box memory foam mattresses and it would be good but no, they were terrible. Then I did some research and realized I should probably go for a traditional mattress. I was also a little lucky because my colleague had recently purchased this same mattress and she had really good things to say about it and so it made my decision much easier. I can also confirm now that this mattress is beautiful!!

Not my first Dreamstar mattress, I had one of their mattresses before and I loved it so much. I think my old one was discontinued though so I had to look for a different one but still wanted something similar. The solace mattress seemed to be very similar to my old one in terms of the specifications and I think now that I’ve slept on it for a couple of weeks, this might even be better than my first one. Overall, I think you cannot go wrong and I also had no issues with off gassing or anything like that so 5 stars for sure!

Very happy with my mattress and the service. I asked for my mattress to be delivered on a given day and a specific time slot and they delivered exactly as requested. I didn’t even ask for the delivery guys to place it on my bed frame for me I thought that would be an extra charge but they went ahead and did it without any fee. The mattress is also great but I already knew that because I tried it out for a good amount of time in store first which I highly recommend people do!!
