“Although it feels more firm than what I thought for a latex mattress that does also make it feel very supportive”

Marlon Newmann
★★★★☆

“Would have appreciated more if it was slightly firmer but overall still pleased”

Atilla

“I can say 100 great things about this mattress, but let me tell you guys the best thing about Sleep Masters is the people working there. Ali at the store and the delivery guys, just incredibly polite people and I can't thank them enough.”

Bryan Kalli

Doug
★★★★★

“Take my word for it and stop spending your money on big name brands that do not have the same quality as they once did because they have cheaped out on their materials. Go for a brand like Dreamstar, I took this model but you don't have to go for the same model, just go for any Dreamstar mattress and you will see that the quality is better than all the big names and you can thank me later.”

Rifat
★★★★★

“Top mattress and these are top guys at Sleep Masters”

Pino
★★★★★

“I had this mattress for 15 years and now it was time to get another one. Awesome mattress and if I live another 15 years I will be back for another one :)”

“It's the best firm mattress I have had that what I can say about it”

Resit
★★★☆☆

“it is comfortable I will give it that but no way near firm enough for what I want”

Iso
★★★★★

“There is a lot to love about this mattress and I will begin with the firmness because it's very surprising. I did not know a firm mattress can be this comfortable at the same time and it is also very supportive in every position that I lay in. Also, there is no bounce and no movement when my partner is moving around on the mattress, this is also very important.”

Taylor
★★★★☆

“I love how the mattress feels but one thing I will say is I did not think it would be this heavy. I went with this mattress thinking it would not be so heavy as that makes things so hard when changing sheets or rotating it but this is still very heavy for me.”

Barb
★★★★★

“I've had a dreamstar mattress for as long as I can remember and I have never been let down. I always go for their firm beds and this one is a bit different to what I normally get because it has no coils but honestly it is just as good as anything else.”

Julie
★★★★★

“It's not the firmest bed in the world but that's exactly what I wanted, something that's firm enough but also very comfortable and this mattress does that for you.”

Rachelle
★☆☆☆☆

“Mattress made me hot which is frustrating because otherwise it's quite comfortable”

Harun
★★☆☆☆

“Have to say I was expecting better from a mattress that was rated so highly”

Neil
★★★★★

“I’m a stomach sleeper, and softer mattresses always cause lower back pain for me. This firm mattress has helped so much!”

Rodrigo
★★★☆☆

“It was almost there but not firm enough. I really hoped it worked out!”

Serena
★★★★★

“I had to put my trust in you guys because I was too far away from your showroom to come and test this mattress but you did a great job explaining why it would be a good mattress for someone like me and you got it perfect. I love love love my new mattress and it is all thanks to you guys!”

Jocelyn
★★★★★

“We had a latex mattress before this one and that one lasted a good 20 years and I remember we paid a premium price back then but it definitely did the job. We wanted to stick with latex again and we found this one to be the best fit for us. It's very comfortable and so far we love it. If it lasts even half as long as our old mattress, we will be delighted.”

Nikola
★★★★★

“This natural escape has been incredible for me and just so people are aware, there are actually two version for this mattress, a plush and a firm. I can only speak for this firm one and my God is it an incredible mattress.”

Clement
★★★★★

“This might just be the most comfortable firm mattress I have owned”

Shaun
★★★★★

“Ordered in Montreal and it was delivered in 5 days. The mattress is great but I already knew that because this is my second time purchasing this model”

Pascal
★★★★★

“I was either gonna go for this mattress or another one in the store which was actually $300 cheaper and still felt great but I think my gut feeling was to go with this one and now I am very happy that I did.”

Ryan G
★★★★★

“I have zero complaints, everything from the service to the quality of the mattress is awesome.”

Alain
★★★★☆

“I am mostly very happy with my selection and I wouldn't consider exchanging it but one thing that could be better is the bouncy feel. I suppose natural latex does have that kind of feel naturally but it would of been nicer for it to have less motion transfer.”

Jules

“Was too firm like rock”

Rehmat
★★★★★

“I had not heard of this mattress before so I was a little surprised when Ali recommended this to me after I used the mattress selector tool, but now I get it! Firstly, I just want to say thank you to Ali because he didn't just recommend something that is more popular to me, he recommended something that is truly better for me. Secondly, I have to say that this is only the 3rd mattress I have ever owned in my life and it is already the best by far. You guys have a customer for life and I will make sure to recommend you to people around me. I have a large family and a big mouth!! :)”

Lee Van
★★★★★

“You guys are amazing and thank you so much for recommending this mattress for me! For context, I knew I wanted a firm mattress but I didn't know which one as there are so many different options, so I used the mattress selector and Ali recommended this option because I am both a back and side sleeper. He said it's firm enough for my back and because it has latex it will also be good on my sides. He got it perfectly correct and I could not have been more satisfied with my whole experience.”

Maria
★★★★★

“Ok, so I want to make this clear... If you like firmer mattresses, you are going to LOVE this mattress. I've tried many firm mattresses in the past and this is without a doubt the most comfortable one. Again, I want to stress that it is FIRM! So only purchase it if you like firm mattresses.”

Catherine B

“This mattress feels like it is getting more comfortable with every sleep. It was a little too firm at first but I think once my body adjusted to the new firmness it's just been getting better and better.”

Julie

“If you like the bouyant feel of a latex mattress and you also like something quite firm then no doubt you will love this mattress”

Sergio
★★★★★

“Designed to suit all manner of body shapes, weights and sleeping positions, we can vouch it worked for us. Thank you Sleep Masters.”

Chantal
★★☆☆☆

“This was too firm for me although it showed to be a medium firm. However I am happy with the service as they allowed me to return it and exchange for a medium model with no hassle.”

Annie

“We've been looking for a good quality latex mattress for a while and we wanted one with no coils. We tested out the natural escape firm and right away we decided to buy it. I would recommend it for sure.”

Frequently Asked Questions

The Natural Escape has a firm feel, so it’s best for back and stomach sleepers, heavier sleepers and anyone who prefers to sleep on top of the mattress rather than sink in. If you sleep mainly on your side, a medium or plush model will be kinder to your shoulders and hips.

Yes, for a foam mattress. Natural latex is open-celled and far more breathable than memory foam, and the Visco Cooling Gel layer below it draws heat away from your body.

Sleep on it for up to 100 nights. If it isn’t right for you, you can exchange it once for a different mattress, and you’re free to choose another model or brand. If your new mattress costs more, you simply pay the difference; if it costs less, we refund the difference. Exchanges and returns are available across the GTA and up to 250 km from our Toronto showroom.

The Natural Escape is a one-sided mattress, so it should not be flipped. Rotate it 180° every 3 to 6 months to help it wear evenly.

Use a firm box spring, a solid platform or a slatted base with slats no more than 3″ apart. Queen and king sizes need a frame with centre support. A sagging or broken base can affect comfort and your warranty, so if yours is worn, it’s worth replacing it. Not sure? Ask us and we’ll recommend the right foundation for the Natural Escape.

This mattress has a 10-year limited warranty from Dreamstar that covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship, such as broken coils or body impressions deeper than the manufacturer’s limit. If an issue comes up, contact us first and we’ll handle the claim with Dreamstar for you.

  14. Gregory –

very satisfied. I ordered my mattress on February 2nd and it was delivered February 6th. I’d say that’s pretty quick delivery time. Unpacked the mattress and set it on my bed waited close to a week to sleep on it just because of work situation and it was quite comfortable. It takes a few sleeps to get used to ,for me anyway , I guess it was due to no lumps and bumps that I was accustomed to with my old mattress. very satisfied
