Why Toronto shops Sleep Masters on Black Friday
Black Friday is the best week of the year to buy a mattress in Toronto — and also the most confusing. Big-box flyers advertise "up to 60% off" on beds that were marked up the month before, and online-only brands can't let you lie on anything. We do it differently: one honest discount, on every mattress in the store, with the same service you'd get any other week.
A real mattress store in North York
Sleep Masters Canada has been Toronto's neighbourhood mattress store at 1285 Caledonia Rd, just off the Allen and Lawrence Avenue West. Our showroom carries Simmons Beautyrest, Stearns & Foster, Serta, Sealy, Organic Meadow and Dreamstar — a Toronto manufacturer that has hand-built mattresses locally since 1996 — so you can compare a pocket coil, a memory foam and a hybrid side by side before you decide. Our Mattress Selector can narrow it down in about a minute if you're shopping from home.
Everything that makes us worth it, still included
- Free delivery across the GTA and up to 250 km from Toronto — Mississauga, Brampton, Vaughan, Markham, Scarborough, Oakville, Hamilton, Pickering and more.
- 100-night sleep trial with one exchange if the comfort isn't right.
- 0% interest monthly payments through Affirm, in store and online.
- Old mattress removal and set-up available on delivery.
- Canadian-made options in every price range, from under $700 to luxury two-sided beds.
Black Friday mattress buying tips
Buy for the way you sleep, not for the discount. Side sleepers usually do best on plush or medium beds; back and stomach sleepers on medium-firm to firm. Couples should look at pocket coil or hybrid construction for low motion transfer. Measure the room and the stairwell before you order a King, and check your bed frame has centre support. And if a deal elsewhere sounds too good, ask what the mattress cost in October.
