Frequently Asked Questions
The Prestige sits in the middle of the comfort scale, which makes it one of the most versatile choices. Side sleepers get cushioning at the shoulders and hips, back and combination sleepers get solid support, and couples with different preferences usually both find it comfortable.
The Prestige has a breathable cover and an open pocket coil core that lets air circulate through the mattress, so it sleeps cooler than a traditional all-foam bed. If you sleep very hot, look at a model with cooling gel, such as the Venetian Gel or Solace Gel.
Sleep on it for up to 100 nights. If it isn’t right for you, you can exchange it once for a different mattress, and you’re free to choose another model or brand. If your new mattress costs more, you simply pay the difference; if it costs less, we refund the difference. Exchanges and returns are available across the GTA and up to 250 km from our Toronto showroom.
The Prestige is a one-sided mattress, so it should not be flipped. Rotate it 180° every 3 to 6 months to help it wear evenly.
Use a firm box spring, a solid platform or a slatted base with slats no more than 3″ apart. Queen and king sizes need a frame with centre support. A sagging or broken base can affect comfort and your warranty, so if yours is worn, it’s worth replacing it. Not sure? Ask us and we’ll recommend the right foundation for the Prestige.
This mattress has a 10-year limited warranty from Dreamstar that covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship, such as broken coils or body impressions deeper than the manufacturer’s limit. If an issue comes up, contact us first and we’ll handle the claim with Dreamstar for you.

Nice mattress which is soft but not too soft. I would recommend it.
Andrei –
A very comfortable mattress which gives you a nice hug but it’s not too soft so you don’t sink into it completely. Thanks guys!
Mia –
I like a high mattress that is very comfortable and the Prestige mattress fit perfectly in my bed frame. Also the delivery team placed it right on my bed frame for me and even took away my old mattress. Super service!

I have three of these mattresses now and I don’t see myself trying anything different. Just perfect.
Kenneth –
I truly enjoy the mattress. It’s beautiful made, great quality and very comfortable for someone like myself who sleeps on a side and back.
Thomas –
Bang average if you ask me. Not a bad mattress but nothing special about it either.
Myre –
I was expecting it to be a little softer but still comfy
Milan –
I genuinely look forward to going to bed knowing how comfortable my mattress so I definitely am pleased with it!
Aaron –
I can’t quite put my finger on it but something is missing from this mattress.
Davinson –
From the very first night, it became evident that this mattress exudes exceptional quality. Its comfort has exceeded my expectations, and thus far, I find myself devoid of any grievances
Ismail –
I was initially hesitant about purchasing a medium comfort level mattress, but it has exceeded all of my expectations. It provides just the right amount of support and cushioning.
Leonardo –
I recommend the mattress, good quality and fair price
Tiffany G –
Just didn’t work out for us, sorry!
Justin –
I love this mattress but I’ve had one before too so I knew exactly what to expect. For those who have never tried it, this mattress has a soft top but you still feel very good support from the coils underneath.
Serena –
The comfort of the mattress in the middle is really good and I am sleeping much better since I’ve bought it. My one concern is that the edges feel a little soft and when I sit there I feel like I am slipping off.
Jarrod –
This is a hugely under rated company and mattress at this price! It truly is a wonderfully comfortable mattress and I recommend it to all.
Nevzet –
This mattress just feels so perfect, like it’s not too soft but definitely soft enough to be comfortable I love it so much
Taylor –
We accidently purchased the Prestige FIRM model even though this is what we initially wanted. Somehow we didn’t see the FIRM name on the other mattress but sleep masters then helped us exchange for this mattress without any hassle or extra delivery fees etc. This is now SO much better!
Duval –
When I was looking for a new mattress my friend told me you must go to this place they are very good and that is the exact experience that I got. Friendly and knowledgable staff, good choices of mattresses and very good pricing.
Gabriel –
The comfort is as prestigious as its name! Really good choice and I’m happy I went with it.
Ozan –
If the mattress was half as good as I was expecting I would be ok with it but it’s barely even an average mattress
Moez –
Me and this Dreamstar Prestige mattress go way back. This is one of the first mattresses I had when I moved to Canada 20 years ago, good to see it still exists and it actually does feel even better now.
Stephen –
Your delivery guys need a raise, they are incredible!! Not to mention the mattress is great too!
Jordan –
Very happy with the mattress and also the service, you guys are amazing!
Cora –
Got my Prestige mattress built with custom dimensions for a reasonable price and they got it done within a week which I was really surprised about. My mattress is super comfy and fits perfectly into my antique bed frame
Rick –
So happy to see that this mattress still exists. I purchased my first Dreamstar Prestige mattress almost 20 years ago and I was worried that maybe I wouldn’t be able to find it anymore. God it looks so different now but the comfort is still perfect for me, maybe even better than my original that I had for so long. If this one also lasts 20 years, i’m afraid it may last longer than i do.
Michelle –
This mattress is comfortable, but I was expecting it to have more of a plush feel. It’s definitely on the firmer side of medium. I’m keeping it, but I might add a mattress topper for extra softness
Brian –
The mattress is comfortable and supportive, but I expected it to be a bit firmer based on the description. It’s still a good buy, but if you prefer a medium feel, you might want to look at other options because this one feels more plush than medium.
Lisa Petrovic –
I’ve been wasting so much time on my old mattress and I only realized that when I got this new one. Like the difference it makes in my sleep and my overall mood is just crazy, I love it so much and I highly recommend.
Saad –
It’s a no no from me, not comfortable and just big and heavy for no reason
Nahal –
When you lay on a mattress and it feels comfortable but also keeps your back supported, that’s probably the right choice for you. That’s exactly what I felt when I tested this mattress and also what I am feeling now, very good bed.
Ovunc –
Prestige mattress is a really good choice and it has helped my shoulders feel much much better so I highly recommend it
Saud –
Always had and always will have a dreamstar mattress, best quality and much better in price than all these brand names which you are just paying for the name
Adam –
I saw that it said ships in 2 days but I didn’t expect it to be delivered in 2 days, that’s incredible service and let me tell you, the mattress is incredibly comfortable.
Balde –
It feels more luxurious than the price suggests which is always a good thing and you can tell it’s made with good quality materials because it’s heavy
Bora –
Great mattress and a great experience shopping with sleep masters
Emery –
It’s not a bad mattress it just wasn’t the right choice for us
Char –
Thank you to Sleep Masters for allowing me to exchange my mattress for this one after the first mattress ended up being too firm and this one is perfect
Nathan –
Mattress is fantastic, the service was amazing and I am a very happy customer! Would buy again for sure!
Sarfraz –
Thanks for all your help but this mattress felt oddly firm and that was very unexpected
Luiz –
If it stays like this then I am not sure I like it because atm it is too firm for me and I did not expect that. I am told it will get little softer in couple weeks after the foams break in so that’s what I am waiting for.
Melih –
Dreamstar Prestige mattress is comfortable and has very good support also on the edges too
Lara –
If you are a back and side sleeper like I am you probably can’t go wrong with the prestige mattress I give it 5 stars
Dave –
Honestly think this is the best I’ve had and it is not even close to the most I’ve ever paid for a bed
Noa –
We tried the firm Prestige Firm model first and that didn’t work so changed to the regular Prestige and this is a lot better now
Taki –
Based on my one week that I have had with the mattress I can confirm that it is very very good
Cindy Derivall –
It feels soft but supportive at the same time and it works good for me as a combination sleeper so it is safe to say I am very satisifed with my mattress.
Gianni –
Eveyrthing about this mattress and also our experience with Sleep Masters has been incredible.
Yan Mnokai –
Super comfortable mattress and I will be telling my friends about it!
Alina Vecino –
Dreamstar mattresses are the best and I urge people to shop Canadian mattresses!!
Brodie –
I would say what makes this mattress so good is the balance it has. It is hard to explain if you ain’t tried it but once you do you will know what I mean.
