Who is the Overnight best suited for?

Its firm, tight-top feel suits back and stomach sleepers, and anyone who wants solid support at a lower price. If you sleep mainly on your side, the Saturday euro top adds cushioning and the Sunup is the plush option.

How does a mattress in a box work?

The Overnight is compressed, rolled and packed in a box that fits through any doorway or stairwell. Unbox it on your bed base, unroll it and remove the plastic: the individually wrapped coils help it expand to full size within minutes, and it’s ready to sleep on the same night. Give it up to 48 hours to reach its final feel.

How does the 100-night sleep trial work?

Sleep on it for up to 100 nights. If it isn’t right for you, you can exchange it once for a different mattress, and you’re free to choose another model or brand. If your new mattress costs more, you simply pay the difference; if it costs less, we refund the difference. Exchanges are available in Ontario within 250 km of our showroom.

Will the Overnight sleep cool?

The Overnight has a layer of Serta® Gel Support Foam that promotes airflow and heat dissipation, and its open, individually wrapped coil system lets air move through the mattress, so it sleeps cooler than an all-foam bed. If you sleep very hot, the Saturday and Sunup add a layer of Cool Twist® Gel Memory Foam as well.

What does “3-zone” mean?

The 800 Serta® StablEdge® coil system is divided into three zones: comfort under your shoulders, support in the middle and comfort under your legs. The firmer centre third gives your lower back and hips targeted support for all-night alignment, while the ends cradle you.

Should I flip or rotate it?

The Overnight has its comfort layers on top only, so it should not be flipped. Rotate it 180° every 3 to 6 months to help it wear evenly.

Can I use it on an adjustable base?

Yes. Serta lists the Overnight as adjustable-base compatible. It also works on a firm box spring or a platform bed with slats no more than 3″ apart. Queen and king sizes need a frame with centre support.

Is it a good choice for a guest room or a first apartment?

Yes. Perfect Day™ mattresses are Serta’s most affordable pocket coil line: the same 3-zone, individually wrapped coil support and made-in-Canada build as their pricier models, packed in a box that’s easy to move and set up on your own.

Where is it made?

Perfect Day™ mattresses are made in Canada with domestic and imported parts, and their foams are CertiPUR-US® certified for content, emissions and durability.

What warranty does it have?

Perfect Day™ mattresses come with a 10-year limited warranty from Serta that covers defects in materials and workmanship, such as broken coils or body impressions deeper than the manufacturer’s limit. If an issue comes up, contact us first and we’ll handle the claim with Serta for you.
