Its plush feel is ideal for side sleepers and lighter sleepers who love a soft, cushioned bed. If you sleep mainly on your back or stomach, the medium Xander or the firm Rylan will give you more support.
The Stay True® Quilt uses MoistureProtect™ Fibres that draw moisture away from your body, the gel foams offer cool, cushioning comfort, and the individually wrapped coils let air move through the mattress.
Sleep on it for up to 100 nights. If it isn’t right for you, you can exchange it once for a different mattress, and you’re free to choose another model or brand. If your new mattress costs more, you simply pay the difference; if it costs less, we refund the difference. Exchanges are available in Ontario within 250 km of our showroom.
Posturepedic® support targets the heaviest parts of your body. In the Rafael, Posture Touch® Pocket Coils have a reinforced centre, and Targeted Gel foam sits directly under your back and core to keep your spine properly supported.
Individually wrapped pocket coils move independently of each other, so movement on one side is much less likely to disturb the other. The reinforced edge also gives you more usable space right to the sides of the bed.
The Rafael has its comfort layers on top only, so it should not be flipped. Rotate it 180° every 3 to 6 months to help it wear evenly.
Yes. Sealy lists the Rafael as adjustable-base compatible. It also works on a firm foundation or a platform bed with slats no more than 3″ apart. Queen and king sizes need a frame with centre support.
Sealy Posturepedic® mattresses are made in Canada with domestic and imported parts, in one of Sealy’s three Canadian manufacturing facilities. Their foams are CertiPUR-US® certified.
It comes with a 10-year limited warranty from Sealy that covers defects in materials and workmanship. If an issue comes up, contact us first and we’ll handle the claim with Sealy for you.

It’s funny because we tried two mattresses in the store with this being one of them, but this was a very fair price, whilst the other one was over $2500.. We loved both of them but I don’t know if the more expensive one was worth paying all the extra money for since this was already really comfortable. It can boggle your mind if you look at the price first. Like if we didn’t know the price of both we may still have chosen this one, so I guess that goes to tell you how good this is for the price.
