The Orthopedic Deluxe sits in the middle of the comfort scale, which makes it one of the most versatile choices. Side sleepers get cushioning at the shoulders and hips, back and combination sleepers get solid support, and couples with different preferences usually both find it comfortable.
The Orthopedic Deluxe has a breathable cover and an open pocket coil core that lets air circulate through the mattress, so it sleeps cooler than a traditional all-foam bed. If you sleep very hot, look at a model with cooling gel, such as the Venetian Gel or Solace Gel.
Sleep on it for up to 100 nights. If it isn’t right for you, you can exchange it once for a different mattress, and you’re free to choose another model or brand. If your new mattress costs more, you simply pay the difference; if it costs less, we refund the difference. Exchanges are available in Ontario within 250 km of our showroom.
The Orthopedic Deluxe is a one-sided mattress, so it should not be flipped. Rotate it 180° every 3 to 6 months to help it wear evenly.
Use a firm box spring, a solid platform or a slatted base with slats no more than 3″ apart. Queen and king sizes need a frame with centre support. A sagging or broken base can affect comfort and your warranty, so if yours is worn, it’s worth replacing it. Not sure? Ask us and we’ll recommend the right foundation for the Orthopedic Deluxe.
This mattress has a 5-year non-prorated warranty from Dreamstar that covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship, such as broken coils or body impressions deeper than the manufacturer’s limit. Non-prorated means you won’t pay a share of the cost for a covered repair or replacement, no matter which year of the warranty you’re in. If an issue comes up, contact us first and we’ll handle the claim with Dreamstar for you.
