Terms & Conditions

These terms apply when you browse sleepmasterscanada.com or buy from Sleep Masters Canada online, by phone or in our showroom. By placing an order or using our website, you agree to them, so please read them carefully. If anything is unclear, contact us before you order and we’ll be glad to explain.

1. About us

Sleep Masters Canada (“Sleep Masters”, “we”, “us” or “our”) is a family-owned mattress retailer with a showroom at 1285 Caledonia Road, North York, Ontario M6A 1Z4. You can reach us at (416) 781-7441 or through our contact page.

In these terms, “you” means the person using our website or buying from us. These terms work together with our Delivery & Shipping Policy, Exchanges & Returns Policy, Warranty page and Privacy Policy, which form part of your agreement with us.

2. Your consumer rights

Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under the Ontario Consumer Protection Act, 2002 or other consumer protection laws that apply to you. If any part of these terms conflicts with those laws, the law wins and the rest of these terms still apply.

3. Products and descriptions

• We do our best to describe and photograph every product accurately. Colours, fabrics and textures can look slightly different on screen, and photos may show accessories, bases or bedding that are not included.
• Mattress dimensions and heights are approximate and can vary by up to about 1 inch (2.5 cm), as is normal in the industry. Comfort is personal, so firmness ratings are a general guide only.
• Manufacturers sometimes update models, materials or fabrics. If a product changes in a way that matters before we deliver it, we’ll let you know.
• New mattresses can have a mild smell for a few days and need a short break-in period of up to 30 nights while your body adjusts.

4. Prices and payment

• All prices are in Canadian dollars. Applicable taxes (HST/GST/PST) and any delivery fees are shown at checkout before you pay.
• Sale prices and coupon codes apply only during the promotion period and cannot be combined unless we say so. Coupons cannot be applied to orders that have already been placed.
• We may change prices at any time, but changes won’t affect orders we have already confirmed.
• If a product is listed at an obviously wrong price because of an error, we may cancel the order and give you a full refund, or offer it to you at the correct price.
• We accept major credit cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay. Card payments are processed securely by our payment providers; we never see or store your full card number.
• Monthly payments are available through Affirm, subject to approval. Financing is provided by Affirm and its lending partners under their own terms, not by Sleep Masters.

5. Orders

After you place an order, we’ll email you an order confirmation. Our contract with you starts when we confirm your order. We may decline or cancel an order (with a full refund) if a product is unavailable, if we can’t verify your payment, if we can’t deliver to your address, or if we suspect fraud. If an item is out of stock or delayed, we’ll contact you with options, including a full refund.

Want to change or cancel your order? Please contact us as soon as possible. Cancellations of unopened mattresses are handled under our Exchanges & Returns Policy.

6. Delivery

Delivery is free within 250 km of our North York showroom. A delivery fee applies further afield, and bed-in-a-box mattresses ship across Canada. Delivery dates shown on our website and at checkout are estimates, not guarantees. We’ll call you to book a delivery time.

When your order arrives, please make sure an adult (18+) is home, check that it’s right and undamaged, and tell the delivery team, or us within 48 hours, about any problem. Please measure doorways, stairways and halls before you order. Full details are in our Delivery & Shipping Policy.

Ownership and responsibility for your order pass to you when it is delivered.

7. Sleep trial, exchanges and returns

Most mattresses come with a 100-night sleep trial for one exchange, and unopened mattresses can be returned within 30 days of your order, less a 30% restocking fee. Exchanges and returns are available in Ontario within 250 km of our showroom. Custom mattresses are final sale, and bed frames and accessories can only be returned if defective. 8. Warranty

Every mattress we sell is covered by its manufacturer’s warranty, which is usually 10, 15 or 20 years depending on the model. Warranty claims are decided by the manufacturer under its own terms. We’ll help you make a claim and send it to the manufacturer for you. Stains, soiling, improper support and misuse can void a warranty, so please use a mattress protector and a proper base. 9. Custom and special orders

Custom-size mattresses and special orders are made just for you. They need a deposit or full payment before production, take longer to deliver, and cannot be cancelled, returned or exchanged once production starts. Please check your measurements carefully. We’re happy to help you measure.

10. Using our website

• Please use our website only for lawful purposes. Don’t try to interfere with how it works, access areas you’re not allowed to, or use automated tools to copy its content.
• Everything on this website, including text, photos, graphics, logos and design, belongs to Sleep Masters Canada or our suppliers and is protected by copyright and trademark law. You may view and print pages for your personal use, but you may not copy, republish or sell our content without written permission.
• Brand names such as Beautyrest, Serta, Sealy and Stearns & Foster are trademarks of their owners.
• Our sleep guides and articles are general information only and are not medical advice. If you have a health condition, please talk to a health professional.
• Links to other websites are provided for convenience. We aren’t responsible for their content or practices.

11. Reviews and comments

If you post a review, comment or photo, please keep it honest, respectful and about your own experience. By posting, you allow us to display it on our website and marketing. We may remove content that is offensive, misleading, unlawful or unrelated.

12. Limitation of liability

We work hard to keep our website accurate and available, but we can’t promise it will always be error-free or uninterrupted. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. This does not limit any liability that cannot be limited by law, including your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2002.

13. Privacy

We collect and use your personal information only as described in our Privacy Policy.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Any dispute will be handled by the courts of Ontario, without affecting any right you have to bring a claim where you live.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page when you place your order applies to that order. The “last updated” date at the top shows when we last changed them.
